I just watched The Deer Hunter and outside of some pacing issues the film was great but your analysis made me appreciate it a little more to the point where I’m considering raising my Letterboxd grade from a 4.5/5 to 5/5. But their placid life is soon to be changed after the three buddies enlist in the airborne infantry to go to Vietnam.
